  • Milk – Milk will make the eggs creamier, but you can use cream or even a milk alternative.

  • Flour tortillas – Or corn tortillas. Look for medium sized tortillas so they fit nicely in a skillet.
  • Shredded cheddar cheese – I like using sharp cheddar but any kind will work.
  • Shredded Monterey Jack cheese – For a bit of spice, use pepper Jack cheese.
  • Butter – Or oil.
  • Optional: sliced scallions, diced tomatoes, avocado – Any of these make great toppings.

How To Make TikTok Breakfast Quesadillas with Bacon

Start by cooking the bacon in a nonstick skillet over medium heat until crispy. Transfer the strips to a paper towel and crumble once cooled. A bacon press works well here if you prefer ultra-flat, evenly cooked bacon.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth and slightly frothy.

Heat the skillet again over medium heat with a little butter or oil. Pour in half the egg mixture (2 eggs) and tilt the pan so the eggs coat the entire bottom.   • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 flour tortillas
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • ½ cup Monterey Jack cheese shredded
  • 1 tablespoon butter or oil

Instructions
 

  • Cook the bacon in a nonstick skillet over medium heat until crispy, then drain and crumble.

  • Place a second tortilla on top and press lightly. Cook 1–2 minutes until the bottom is golden.
  • Flip and cook the other side until crispy and the cheese is fully melted.
  • Transfer to a board, rest 1 minute, then slice.
  • Repeat with the remaining eggs, tortillas, and bacon to make the second quesadilla.
