Ingredients

  • 12 Oreo cookies
  • ¼ cup purple candy melts
  • ¼ cup green candy melts
  • ¼ cup orange candy melts
  • Halloween sprinkles

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat, then set it aside for later.
  • Sort your Halloween sprinkles into small bowls to make decorating quick and easy.
  • Place the purple, green, and orange candy melts into three separate microwave-safe bowls.
  • Microwave one bowl at a time in 30-second intervals, stirring after each round, until the candy is fully melted and smooth.
  • Dip each Oreo into the melted candy using a dipping tool or fork, covering it completely.
  • Tap off any excess coating, then transfer the coated cookie to the prepared baking sheet.
  • Repeat the process, dipping four Oreos per color to create a bright and festive mix.
  • Sprinkle each cookie with Halloween decorations while the coating is still wet.
  • Decorate however you like, have fun mixing shapes, colors, and combos.
  • Rest the cookies at room temperature for 30 to 60 minutes, or refrigerate them for about 15 minutes to set faster.
  • Serve the cookies on a festive tray, or store them in an airtight container until you're ready to enjoy.

Chef Jenn's Tips

  • A flat-base candy dipper helps keep the cookies neat and clean-looking.
  • Use glass bowls for melting so the candy stays workable longer.
  • Stir in a teaspoon of coconut oil if the melted candy feels too thick.
  • Let kids choose their own sprinkle combos for a fun decorating session.
  • Pack them in clear cellophane bags tied with ribbon for easy Halloween gifts.
